Over 10 years ago we developed our human grade organic bird food to feed companion birds really, really well. We had a vision to revolutionize the bird food industry. And we did.
Today we are still researching the diets of parrots to make sure they receive the best possible nutrition available while they are held captive in cages made by human hands that keep them earthbound.
But what we really desire to see is that eventually capturing and any unethical breeding practices comes to an ultimate end. We would like to see that only pure, ethical and humane breeding standards prevail, breeding for the purpose that species do not become extinct. At some point in time these beautiful creatures of the air no longer are kept explicitly for human pleasure on the earth, but are allowed to live their independent lives where they are divinely created and designed to live, in the sky, the tree tops, mountain sides and cliff edges.
It is for this very reason we are in the early stages of developing our non-profit foundation, “Right-To-Flight” and our private trust, “An Earth and Sky Educational Trust”, so that together with a wider community, we can continue to research, environmentally study, educate, and develop better living conditions for those parrots who are already earthbound at the hands of humans. Let’s face it, birds are in our homes to stay, and it is to this end that further research and education must continue.
Please consider coming along beside us and helping us during this great journey. If you are interested in joining us in this endeavor please leave a comment and let us know how you would like to help in a combined effort to help in this mission to provide proper nutrition to captive birds, continue research about their health, nutrition, and proper care, environmentally study, educate the public, and develop better living conditions for these divine creatures. Any manner in which you can offer help is essential in the worldwide effort to combat abuse to these wonderful creatures of the air.
If you do not wish to leave a public comment on our blog, you may email me, “Machelle”, privately at aidforthebirds@yahoo.com and I will be delighted to discuss our dreams, hopes and goals with you in confidence!
