Parasite-Pur™

Parasite-Pur™ supplement is specifically formulated to prevent, reduce and eliminate internal parasites.

Liver Pur ™ and Uric Pur should always be added to a bird's diet who is placed on our feather destroyer's diet. Both of these should be fed during the first phase of the program known as "Dirty Birdie Detox."  Parasite Pur™ is also our recommendation during the 1st phase of the program, but optional.

Suggested manners of use: Offer as a “free-feed” in a separate bowl at the rate of 2tsp. to 2Tblsp, or sprinkle on top of fresh, organic moist food. You may also grind all ingredients to a powder, especially for small birds. If so desired you can steep and use as a tonic. We suggest adding 1/8 cup of Liver Pur to one quart of filtered water, place lid on and shake. Then refrigerate overnight to steep without using heat. You can then use the steeped Tisane over our Origins Wild Diet daily food to rehydrate the food. (Ratio: 1/4 cup Origins to 1/8 cup Tisane) Or you can simply add about 1/8 to 1/4 cup of the Tisane to your bird's normal drinking water (about 5-7 ounces). Remove the Tisane within 24 hours and refresh. -Remember to always offer clean, fresh water when offering herbal tonics to your bird. Also, remember to remove tonics within 24 hours of offering to ensure no bacteria or mold growth in the tonic.

*Cautions/Suggestions: When using any herbal supplement, be advised that higher levels of Vitamin B12 are needed in your bird's diet. Most herbal supplements are high in alkaloids. Alkaloids are partly what makes herbal supplements do what they are intended to do, but they also deplete the system of Vitamin B12. Ensure your bird is receiving plenty of natural B12 in its diet while feeding any of our "Supple' Pur" items.
