I have been offering this herbal mix to several of the permanent residents in our Providence Exotic Bird Sanctuary and they absolutely love it! I was wondering if they would like the smell and the taste, because it does have a very distinctive aroma…and they do seem to really go for it! I offer it alone in a side dish and they really seem to like it served in that manner, but I also mix it in with their fresh foods as you can see in the photo above. This particular cup of food is for our little Crimson Rosella “Rosco.” He really goes after this stuff!

You might consider purchasing a small amount as a trial size to see if your bird will pick and poke through this mix. As mentioned above there are a few different ways to offer it. I’m sure you can manage to get your bird(s) to consume in one of those manners!
