It was a healthy guilt free treat for Kiki who is our 20 year old Eclectus rescue. Unfortunately, our avian vet asked us to take a break because she feels he is toe tapping when he eats peas. He is tapping less now. once he stops altogether we may try reintroducing in small amounts. This is a great product

Adding small amounts of this food back in will not cure the issue. Most likely, your bird is toe-tapping / wing-flipping due to a lack of healthy fats such as olive oil, palm oil, flax seed oil, or hemp oil. Try using our Feather Destruction diet because that contains everything your bird needs at this time. Vets are not trained in nutrition. They will tell you to remove foods without understanding what is the cause of the issue. Removing foods will only lead to removing more foods down the line. Take care of the root cause. Then try adding those foods back in after many months of the Feather Destruction diet.
