All of our OWD SeeD-elicious™ daily treats come in 1# packages. The shelf life is up to one year from the date of production if kept sealed and in a dark, cool and dry pantry. Each package label indicates the "Guaranteed Analysis" performed by a 3rd-party food testing lab, a "Use-by" date, and an internal verification code (IVC) to designate individual batches.

My canary LOVES this food! He gets several other types of food every day, but this is the only one he completely finishes! I have started introducing another OWD mix into my 35 year old Amazon's diet - hopefully he is not too set in his ways to try it. I research everything that goes into my dogs, birds, and fish's mouths; and I have to say it is such a good feeling to offer this to my birds.

My cockatiels - 2 are 20 years old, 1 is 30 years old - will not eat it.Seed quality is excellent, but it does smell different from the bags of seed that I mix and give them in the past. I have added small quantities of the new seed to their regular seed and hopefully the cockatiels will adjust.

Elderly birds are less likely to accept our foods at first. It does take, sometimes, months before a bird transitions. It's best to continue reducing the former mix while increasing the new mix. Our mixes will smell different - fresh - due to pre-sprouting for added nutrition. Dianne's reply: "Thank you! I was totally happy with your seed mix, just wish my birds would eat it. I'll follow your suggestion."

My birds love it . Took a while to cockatiel eat all kind of seed in here . I keep sprinkling 1/2-1 tea spoon every day to get used to her . Her most favorite is orange flower and skinny long black seeds . Eat flowers pollen too . I was shocked how much she like flowers at first. Green cheeked eats all his favorite and go cockatiel’s dish then yells from me . He eats hemp seeds and some reddish brown seeds and coconut after eats tiny black , flowers , skinny long black and white millet . They are stick to dish every time I change. I change twice a day for fresh . I feed then pellets,cooked seed ,fresh vegetables,and fruits too . Father looks so shiny and cockatiel looks happy to eat this mix .

Some of my birds eat lots of it. I have parrotlets. One pair has 5 babies. They are all doing amazeing, and they eat lots of this food. My conures eat lots. Will be trying it on Quakers, Ring Necks and Linnies soon. Try it, your birds will like it.

All my bird seems really enjoy eating mix . I have green cheeked conure 9years old and 3years old cockatiel . Green cheek love most of seed and other companies organic pellets and most vegetables dunk in water and eat . My picky cockatiel girl friend eats few kind of seed and some flowers. I was shocked he was enjoying a while at feeder . Since then I feeding her this tiny beak mix every day with other brand cooked bird mix . And freeze dry vegetables from here . She start eat red and orange bell pepper, carrot and hot chili peppers. She was seed junky I’m so happy with all the products selling here .

My canary, Hendrix, gets all his veggies and seeds around 7:30, about 5 different types of food. If I don't give him his food by then, he politely reminds me. But when I put his food in his cage, he always goes straight for the seeD-licious! Plus, there is none left when I take his seed containers out. He loves it the most! It makes me feel good to know he is getting such a healthy diet!
