Even though this is Eclectus specific know that you can feed this to just about any Psittacine. We call this “Eclectus-specific” because this recipe is chock full of the kinds of foods that the Eclectus loves and thrives on!

Dehydrated Eclectus Trail Mix Supreme

1Cup Dried Organic Dried Mango Bits

¼ Cup Dried Organic Dried Papaya cut into beak-sized bits

1/8 Cup Dried Organic Dried Figs cut into beak-sized bits

¼ Cup Dried Organic Dried Banana Slices

1/8 Cup Dried Organic Dried Blueberries

1/8 Cup Dried Organic, Sprouted Dehydrated Mung Beans

½ Cup Macadamia Nuts

¼ Cup Organic Whole Anise Pods

1 Tsp. Organic Whole Cloves

1/2 Organic Vanilla Bean Diced into ¼ inch beak-sized pieces

Optional:

Drizzle a mixture of ¼ tsp. organic flax seed oil, 1/8 tsp. organic hemp seed oil, 1 capsule of Mercola krill oil all mixed thoroughly together, over the top. Then sprinkle with ¼ tsp. organic, ground Ceylon Cinnamon powder, 1/8 tsp organic, ground ginger, 1/16 tsp, organic, ground turmeric and 1/16 tsp organic, ground schisandra berry powder for a great detox effect. If you add the oils be sure to keep this mixture refrigerated so the Omegas do not go rancid.
