21All of our OWD daily diets come in 1# packages. The shelf life is up to one year from the date of production if kept sealed and in a dark, cool and dry pantry. Each package label indicates the “Guaranteed Analysis” performed by a 3rd-party food testing lab, a “Use-by” date, and an internal verification code (IVC) to designate individual batches.

All of our foods are gently dehydrated under 110 degrees F - considered "raw" by industry standards - never cooked.
Handmade: Our gourmet “handmade” grain-free formula is also gently dehydrated under 110 degrees. Our handmade formula contains more ingredients for more balanced nutrition. We suggest feeding 25% to no more than 45% fresh food with every meal with our handmade formulas.

Our food is not a "pellet" food. Pellets are manufactured using high heat many times over 360 degrees F. The high heat destroys all naturally occurring digestive enzymes. In addition, the high pressure used in manufacturing pellets destroys almost original nutrition, vitamins, etc. This is why we make our foods by hand, gently dehydrating them under 110 degrees F. We prefer to call the form of our food "noodles and nuggets" because it is made by hand. No high heat. No high pressure. Very few grains, if any, depending on the species-specific diet. Hello Krys, If your bird is a chronic picker and/or plucker it most likely needs our feather destruction program. Some birds that engage in feather destruction "turn around" simply by consuming our "green" dialy diets, others require our feather destruction program.
