Cockatiels do not possess the strength while articulating their beaks to break through the Basmati Rice and the white rice too. I have since I purchased the Cockatiel mix separate these out and dispose. They derive no nutrition from what they cannot eat. Overall I have not found any mixes better.

My cockatiel Cosmo has been eating this seed for 6 years. He never picks at it but attacks it when he is hungry. He is an older bird, and does not eat fresh veggies or fruits like younger birds. I feel he is getting the best quality food for a seed eater!

United StatesMichelle, your organization has absolutely the best ingredients for Cockatiel food. Al is, we think added to the 19 years we have had him from rescue, about 23? His health is very well sustained.
We love him he loves the food. As I had mentioned when we first introduced him to the formula within three days he would not eat the meager options that are only available from pet supply stores.

After initially searching for a supplier of harrisons pellets in my region, I soon stumbled upon Kim. Kim was kind enough to give me a call back to discuss my new parrots dietary need , and after a nice chat, I decided to take the benefit of her extensive experience and try the origins wild diet organic bird feed. The product came very well packaged and from initially opening the packs it was evident that freshness and quality had been made priority. After 20 minuits of introducing it to Manuel ( my Alexandrine parrot ) he was muching it down with viguor, it was a pleasure to watch him enjoying his new diet, especially knowing the health benefits he's getting from it.

Michelle and associates, I previously submitted commentary regarding specifically your Cockatiel formula. Approximately 2-2 1/2 months ago our Alley (male) Cockatiel was indicated by our veterinarian Dr. Sellers at the Cat and Bird Clinic to be 10 grams below his baseline weight. He had no interest eating any food we struggled to provide. I searched the web and found your website. I ordered 1 pound aware that these creatures eat only what they are accustomed. Within 3 days he accepted the formula and last week he was 5 grams above his baseline. He has accessibility to fly free in the house for 19 years and now has the energy back when we rescued him almost dead outside on the ground.
